Exceptional!

We love Casa Jacinta and Coyoacan!!! Our room was so charming and had a lovely balcony. The staff was so friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood with tree-lined streets, very close to many restaurants and attractions. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. We fell in love with Coyoacan and the warm people that made us feel like family. We can't wait to return. Mil Gracias!!!!

The Charm of Coyoacan

Rooms: Seven rooms to choose from. I stayed in room #7, which had two double beds and en-suite bathroom. Clean, white linens, a desk, TV, and thoughtful decorations throughout. Tiled bathroom with included toiletries. Two bottles of purified drinking water provided. The sheets could have been a touch more comfortable. Grounds: Beautiful front and back courtyard surrounded by greenery. Sweeping trees overhead, succulents and cacti throughout, crawling vines along the back wall. The common room, where breakfast is served, is large and warm, with many different tables to accommodate guests in the morning. Note that there may be guests smoking in the outside areas, but never inside the Casa. Service: Staff is friendly and communicative. Depending on when you check in, your hosts will have a range of English available. The morning breakfast staff was incredible. The woman who prepared and served (wish I could remember her name!) was kind as I practiced my Spanish and very accommodating to guest requests. Breakfast consisted of two warm plate choices as well as juice, toast & jam, coffee or tea. They will hold your bags if you want to (and you should) go out during the day to explore the neighborhood. Neighborhood: This was the main attraction for me. Casa Jacinta is a seven minute walk to the central part of Coyoacan, where you will find the two central squares- Jardin Centenario and Plaza Hidalgo- restaurants, street vendors, artisans selling handmade goods, and the famous mercados. As a solo female traveler, I went out and returned late at night (as late as midnight) and felt very safe walking through this neighborhood. Go out and engage with this neighborhood! And in the morning walk to Cafe El Jarocho or Cafe Avellaneda for an excellent cup of coffee. Price: Mid-range. Most rooms start at $105 usd. You can certainly find cheaper and more expensive for this area. I booked through Airbnb and was able to apply a coupon code for a bit of a discount. All of their rooms are posted on Airbnb and is just as easy to book as through their website.

Wonderful!

My wife and I stayed here recently and chose Casa Jacinta for it's great service, competitive rates and proximity to Museo Frida Kahlo. Our stay was beyond exceptional and we would be happy to return. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

“Casa Jacinta is an awesome place!

“Casa Jacinta is an awesome place! I felt like home, they helped me to identify the nearest places to visit and so many advices that helped me to plan better the weekend I spent there. It is a beautiful house, full of colors and very neat, deliciuos breakfast and a SO RELAXING ambience. House is located just 4 blocks from Coyoacan downtown, which makes it easy to walk there come back to the house and go downtown again, the neighborhood is worth it, I felt secure all the time eventhough I was traveling by myself. I loved that the staff in Casa Jacinta were always available for any doubt, issue I had or advice that I required. ”
